  Reducing business telecoms costs?
Reducing your cost's within the current UK business climate

ecotel Networks
have solutions to help you succeed

Step 1.  Who is your current telecoms provider ?

Check your current line rental charges for your PSTN Lines/ISDN2/ISDN 30channels?

If you have current PSTN or ISDN 2e lines ? ecotel Networks can reduce this operational cost and give you the lines with a 15% discount or if your monthly call spend is over £50 per month* we would discount these services to wholesale cost pricing which could save your business 20% off current BT standard line pricing*

If your business has ISDN30 and current line costs are above £150.00 per month*

We would advise you to speak to our sales team, we would speak to you about sip trunks or VOIP for your business needs*
There have been some of our clients which have saved on average 40% of total operational telecoms costs.

Step 2.  How much do you spend per month on total outbound calls ?

If you currently spend on average £50 per month* ecotel Networks would average reduce this cost by 20% - 50%
off BT standard rates*

Call tariff ??  Look at where your calls are too?  Local, National, International,Mobile and non geo 0844 etc

Local calls are only within your direct area code and a lot of users think their local calls are UK. This would be set by your current telecoms provider.  Check your invoices and you will see a breakdown.

Calls can get very expensive with call set up charges ?  A call set up charge is set by your telecoms provider to make more profit.  It just means that even if you lift a handset for less than 1 minute* you incur a set up charge this is set from you provider.
( Example: £0.02p -£0.05p per call )

So remember just because you think that you may be using the telephone on short calls this set up charges can add up on your invoice.

ecotel Networks* all calls do not have set up charges

The above also has the opposite charges which is called minimum call spend.  What s this ?  It is like set up charges but instead of a set up fee it just means that the call will be charged at a certain rate* This charge is set by your telecoms provider.
( Example: £0.05p- £0.10p  per call* there might be a limit set for being on the call 60minutes etc ).

ecotel Networks* all calls do not have minimum call charges

If your call tariff is directed at mobile calling or International calling ?  We can put together a bespoke tariff so this would reduce your cost.

Step 3. Current telephone system ?  what are you using or have installed now ?

Current systems ( PBX - system ) can have maintenence costs running at hundreds of pounds a year or on average it is set at 15% of the cost of your telephone system.  Many telecoms companys have this cost on your invoice and it is not easy to understand what you are paying for ?

There are some great package products on the market that you only pay a small fee to cover insurance on the system and it gives you a full years labour & parts cover.

Step 4. Your current system is at least 4 - 5 years old ?  maybe looking outdated and causing problems?

We would advise in keeping ahead and updating your current system to a VOIP system or if it is possible upgrade your current switch & handsets.

ecotel Networks can offer a free site visit to check your current system and price up a new system*
We can also arrange lease options
.

Step 5. How do you pay for your telecoms bills ?  If you get paper invoices and do not pay via Direct debit
You might be getting charged for paper billing and getting charge for none direct debit set up. This in turn can also lead to you missing a bill date and then getting a late payment fee added onto your next invoice.

ecotel Networks we do request every client to pay via direct debit and we also invoice on a e-billing systems to reduce paper & postage costs.  We see a benefit to this as clients get their invoices on time every month and keeps our own credit control at a professional standard. Our clients seem to prefer this system as they have online access and can save/print their own invoices at any time.

Step 6. Go over all your options before you make any choices, ecotel networks give all our clients a 14day cooling off period before we complete orders
